The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have planted an English oak tree at the National Arboretum in the nation’s capital. The oak was chosen because it is a symbol of England, representing strength and endurance.
More on the precious brothers who helped Will and Kate by watering the newly planted tree:
"The Canberra mother of five has terminal breast cancer and is about to start a final round of chemotherapy. For her, the family’s close encounter with royalty was about creating a special memory they could hold close to their hearts in the tough months ahead.
Mrs Lye’s six-year-old sons Oliver and Sebastian watered the English Oak Tree with matching red watering cans after Prince William and Kate shovelled in some soil.
Sebastian yelled out ‘Oi Mum’ as the twins held hands and shyly approached the royal couple.
Sebastian has Down Syndrome and is hearing and visually impaired.
"Well done, boys," William told the twins as the crowd clapped. "

Every time I see gifs of Kate playing with George and her taking a stroll with William, I welled up with joyful tears. Those are such precious moments and we are blessed to have witness these moments. I reckon there are thousands more like this behind the wall of Kensington Palace. 😭😭😭
I agree, I think we’re so lucky to get to see a little bit of it it’s just so adorable. They’re such a normal yet completely adorable family it’s refreshing to see :)
